2024 PGA Championship leaderboard: Live coverage, Tiger Woods score, golf scores

The 2024 PGA Championship has finally arrived with arguably the top three players in the sport — Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka — all riding hot streaks entering Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville. The world No. 1 returns to competition for the first time in a month after welcoming his first child into this world. Last he left off, Scheffler had won four out of his last five starts, including the Masters and the RBC Heritage. He could advance the grand slam conversation with another win this week, but since Scheffler has been away, his absence on the PGA Tour has been filled by McIlroy.

McIlroy has gone without a major triumph for 10 years — despite numerous close calls — but on Thursday, the four-time major winner returns to the site of his such victory in 2014. Rory enters off a dominant performance at Quail Hollow with eyes on finally breaking through with major No. 5. Then there’s Koepka, someone already looking for his sixth. He has an opportunity to not only successfully defend a major title for the third time in his career but join illustrious company in winning his fourth Wanamaker Trophy.
